About Paul Barron
Since founding trend setting websites Fastcasual.com and QSRweb.com in the mid 90's my passion for media and technology and how it intersects with business has been a vision that has finally come to reality.  Business today must address the sweeping changes that are upon us, it's not just about social media but instead about the transformation of how business will do everything from marketing to customer service to research.  I have spent the last 18 years building successful online businesses, building creative content networks, global events and even uncovering emerging trends that have turned into a 20 billion business segment.  My passion is about results and how we can use these new age techniques to move our business into the future.

Smart ass comedy and marketing mixed into a great recipe

Matthew Inman is a brilliant mind and what he has achieved is amazing as a sole entrepreneur with more than 4.5 million views of the TheOatmeal.com a great comic site that I read daily! I think you can say he has made it! I have some great friends that talk often about not being afraid of doing something new and a bit crazy. Just remember that even though some may point fingers, laugh a little and then scurry back to their cube, I say go for it!

Are you that kind of restaurant operator afraid to take a risk, afraid to do something a bit outside the box? Big or Small it really does not matter, if ole Howie Schultz thought, maybe I can’t sell coffee after all and moved back to the East coast with his tail between his legs when his partners called him crazy we would not have Starbucks! Can you imagine life with out the freaky looking mermaid cup in your hand every morning?

Just stop thinking about that great idea and start doing it. Your risk and reward are often a unity waiting to get acted on.
